Packaging Regulations
Regulatory protocol under Universal Waste Ruling provides an exemption for DOT/UN Certification status. Exemption is based upon the volume of mercury content in mercury containing fluorescent lamps (~ 30 mg./lamp). Under 450 grams per container; container is exempt.
BulbPacks™ can be shipped over the road with a common freight carrier on a straight bill of lading (BOL). BulbPacks⢠can also be shipped via UPS, Federal Express.
